The Kenya Revenue Authority held two 5 day trainings on “Efficient and effective customer oriented revenue administration with high taxpayer filing and payment compliance ratios. The expected output of the activity was Enhanced Tax Administration of the Public Sector through Sensitization on PAYE, Withholding Tax and IFMIS. The activity was funded by DANIDA.
The training was conducted at Boma Inn Hotel in Eldoret between 23rd and 27th November, 2020 and The Waterbuck Hotel in Nakuru from 30th November 2020 to 4th December 2020. Officers from the public institutions were trained on: Finance Bill Amendment Act 2020, Tax Law Amendment Act 2020, ITax Portal Modules, PAYE, Tax Incentives, Withholding Income Tax and Rental Income.
The training was conducted through hands-on training and Q&A sessions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in achieving the intended objectives.
